This is after the operation, done by an excellent surgeon at Chamberry, a city in the french Alps. The surgons there are considered excellent because Chamberry is a major and internation ski resort and doctors face all sorts of traumas...
You can add them up: 15 screws... 2 hours of operations, 1 months of daily excercises before being able to hold a bottle... All of that because of some swiss old lady who "did not see me"...
Your index finger seems to be splitted on the phalanx side. Do you have a pain when you press it ? Let's hope that the edge of this apparent fork will be resorbed later on..
I'll see the doctor in 2 months for a final checkup, and for insurance purposes. He told me it is not moving, so it should heal by itself. I am not eager to go through an other operation again...
It does not hurt, so i don't mind letting mother Nature do its homework :-).
